Salary: £35,000 circa (dependant on experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7.

Overview and Opportunity
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with a stunning, traditional Hotel, renowned for its events and conference venue in the heart of Hampshire. They are keen for an experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager to join their team.
As the Bar & Restaurant Manager you will be instrumental in the day to day management of the restaurant and bar. Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager you will also conduct duty management shifts for the hotel and will be instrumental in supporting the training and development of their outstanding team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and drive a guest-focused culture.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality food and beverages are served to customers.
- Handle and provide adequate solution to customer complaints.
- Deal with customer feedback, sharing to the team and implementing actions.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the venue and pay attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations.
- Ensure all Health & Safety legal requirements are up to date.
- Participate to the recruitment and onboarding of the restaurant and bar teams.
- Manage the schedules all of the Bar and restaurant team.
- Work with and develop all of the team.
- Create a positive work environment, ensuring a high employee engagement and optimising the employee retention.
- Work to resolve staff complaints, escalating to the Operations Manager when necessary.
- Conduct regular performance review and talent management, conduct appraisals and strategise for improving staff performance, in cooperation with the Operations Manager.
- In cooperation with the Operations Manager, optimise the venue’s profitability by managing margins through food sales and beverage sales.
- Monitor and maintain a consistent payroll.
- Ensure the maintenance of staff records and the monitoring of hours worked.
- Participate in the management of inventory, orders, and purchases.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a hospitality environment is essential, this position would suit an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Bar Manager or Restaurant Manager who is looking to progress and is ready for that next step.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to details and customer needs.
- Social, engaging and motivated. Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
