Role: Chief Stewardess / Head Housekeeper
Location: Marylebone
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. Flexibility is required for events and special occasions.
Accommodation: Live-out

Overview and Opportunity
 
We are recruiting an experienced Chief Stewardess / Head Housekeeper on behalf of our client based in Marylebone. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prestigious household and oversee the smooth running of all housekeeping operations. The role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and service. The household is fully staffed with a supportive and professional team in place.
 
 
Job Description
 
You will work closely with the Estate Manager and other members of staff to ensure that the home is always presented to the highest standards and service is delivered seamlessly when the principals are in residence.
 
Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small team of housekeepers
  • Maintain and implement daily, weekly, and seasonal housekeeping schedules
  • Oversee wardrobe management, fine garment care, and seasonal clothing rotation
  • Conduct regular deep cleans and ensure the home is immaculate at all times
  • Manage household stock and inventory
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors
  • Support service during events, dinners, or when guests are present
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain five-star service standards
  • Report to the Estate Manager and communicate effectively with the wider household team

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess is preferred 
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of luxury garment care and wardrobe organisation
  • Immaculate attention to detail and presentation
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and highly organised
  • Driving licence preferred (parking available)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
