Role: Assistant Conference & Banqueting Operations Manager
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €65,000 circa (dependant on experience)
Accommodation: Relocation Available
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
 
Overview and Opportunity:

Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with a historic 5-star hotel in Dublin. It’s known for its luxury and rich history. The hotel offers 265 rooms, multiple dining options, a spa, and event spaces.

They are seeking a dedicated, proactive and experienced Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to support the smooth operation of the food and beverage services. The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to maintaining high standards across the department.
 
Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering excellent customer service to all employees.
  • Responding promptly and proactively to staff concerns.
  • Utilising coaching techniques throughout the business.
  • Demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Encouraging and motivating staff to resolve guest and employee-related issues.
  • Providing outstanding customer service.
  • Responding swiftly and proactively to guest concerns.
  • Understanding and embodying the brand’s service ethos.
  • Setting clear service expectations for both internal and external guests.
  • Taking ownership of guest complaints or issues until they are fully resolved or escalated appropriately.
  • Following up to ensure guest concerns have been satisfactorily addressed.
  • Building strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
  • Adhering to all corporate accounting procedures.
  • Assisting the General Manager as required with the annual quality audit

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
