As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing the sales strategy of the hotel with the ultimate objective of maximizing revenues across all revenue-generating outlets to include bedrooms, meetings and events, and food and beverage. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic, creative and high-performing individual with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and maximising Hotel revenue.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work to deliver the budgeted sales revenue for the hotel across all revenue generating departments while proactively managing all aspects of the Sales & Marketing role through appropriate communications of all necessary details to all relevant departments
- Devise and implement the overall strategic sales and marketing plan for the hotel and actively monitor its progress in terms of achieving KPI’s, budgets and revenues
- Liaise with the General Manager and Head Office in adopting price strategies across the hotel
- Develop and nurture relationships with key corporate clients and have an in-depth knowledge of all business providers and their needs
- Analyse current markets and source new markets while identifying potential clients and securing new corporate account
- Ability to execute focused marketing plan to strengthen brand identity and engagement in particular the promotion of the food & beverage offerings in the locality through designing and overseeing sales and marketing activities for the food and beverage outlets
- Organise and conduct site inspections and familiarisation trips in conjunction with the Hotel team
- Manage the number and performance of third party and promotional websites and liaise with providers in ensuring optimisation of the hotel’s online performance
- Proactively monitor the Hotel’s profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion
- Conduct weekly snapshot meetings with the hotel team and update on activities/sales and plans for the weeks ahead
- Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a monthly basis.
- Actively participate in and represent the hotel at consumer trade fairs, mall promotions and tourism events both at local and national level
- Organise on and off-site client entertainment as the business requires
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 3 years experience with a proven track record in achieving targeted sales in the hospitality industry
- Relevant degree/diploma in Sales Marketing or equivalent
- Commercially focused, have the ability to analyse market data and results-driven
- Articulate, confident communicator at all levels, both with colleagues and clients
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including web analytics metrics and tools
- Ambitious, creative and the ability to influence decisions
- High level of customer focus and understanding
- Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU
