We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Private Driver to join a UHNW family based in London. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a small, dedicated team supporting the family’s transportation needs across London and beyond.
Job Description
- Property: Luxury townhouse
- Current team size: Small, close-knit household staff of 6-8 members
- Schedule flexibility is essential to accommodate varying family requirements
- Potential for weekend work and extended hours during busy periods
Role Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, and professional chauffeuring services for family members
- Maintain and care for a fleet of luxury vehicles, ensuring they are always in pristine condition
- Plan efficient routes and anticipate traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals
- Coordinate with household management regarding travel schedules
- Assist with luggage handling and ensure passenger comfort at all times
- Maintain detailed vehicle logs and service records
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Provide airport transfers and long-distance journeys as required
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding family affairs and travel arrangements
- Adapt to last-minute schedule changes with professionalism and flexibility
- Assist with vehicle-related errands and deliveries when not driving
- Ensure vehicles are fully stocked with amenities and supplies
- Coordinate with external service providers for vehicle maintenance and detailing
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience driving for UHNW families and individuals
- Full UK driving licence with clean record (essential)
- Exceptional knowledge of London roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent references from previous UHNW employers
- Impeccable presentation and professional demeanour
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends (time off given in lieu)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Enhanced DBS check (will be arranged if not current)
- Experience with luxury vehicle maintenance and care
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
