Salary: £37,000 circa + Service Charge
Work Schedule: 45 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)

Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with a luxury country house hotel in the Cotswolds. Their Restaurant is a vibrant and welcoming dining destination known for its stylish setting and exceptional cuisine. They pride themselves on delivering 5-star service in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. An incredible opportunity to step into the role of Head Sommelier and lead our clients award-winning team across a diverse range of exceptional food and beverage outlets.

They are seeking a passionate and experienced professional with a Michelin background and a proven track record of delivering impeccable hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of wines, cocktails, beers, and beverages, along with experience in high-end service within a prestigious 5-star setting. A natural leader, you will have the ability to inspire, develop, and elevate your team to new heights.
 
Role Responsibilities:

• A very strong background working ideally as Head Sommelier in a Michelin setting
• Impeccable guest service skills with a background of exceeding guest expectations
• A passion for great wines accompanied by an appetite to build and share knowledge
• As Head Sommelier, you will understand the workings of a well managed cellar and demonstrate the highest attention to detail – you will be highly organised
• Proven experience as Head Sommelier with a very strong understanding of wine pairing.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent standard of written and spoken English
• An engaging personality with a flair for communication at all levels
• Immaculate personal presentation
• WSET or equivalent qualifications
