Overview and Opportunity:
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with an exclusive estate with a Championship Golf course and elegant clubhouse restaurant who are renowned for events in the Billingham area.
Job Description:
They are keen to seek an experienced Chef de Partie to their kitchen team.
This role is key in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen at this prestigious property.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and run a specific kitchen section
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard with consistent quality.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and food storage practices.
- Assist with stock control and minimise food waste.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).
- Ability to manage a kitchen section independently during service.
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and presentation across various dishes.
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
