Overview and Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and discreet Private Chef to join a London-based private household, with regular travel to both domestic and international residences. The successful candidate will be passionate about exceptional cuisine, with strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements, and the ability to design bespoke menus that reflect the principals’ tastes and preferences. This is a hands-on role that demands flexibility, professionalism, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences in both formal and informal settings.

- The client’s residences include London as the primary base and multiple international homes.
- Household teams typically range from 10-20 staff per property.
- Flexible working hours, especially when accompanying the client during travel.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve seasonal, healthy, and refined meals tailored to the principals’ preferences and dietary needs.
- Source high-quality ingredients, maintaining strong supplier relationships with a commercial mindset.
- Cater for both casual and formal dining, including family gatherings and special occasions.
- Travel with principals to residences and holiday destinations, often at short notice.
- Uphold strict kitchen hygiene and food safety standards across all locations.
- Manage kitchen inventories, budgets, and provisioning for travel.
- Work closely with household staff to deliver seamless service.
- Maintain the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Chef with full kitchen management skills
- Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and dietary requirements
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently in new kitchens and environments
- Flexible to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
- Clean UK driving licence (preferred)
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel rights
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
