Job description 
 
A UHNW Family based in Dubai is looking to hire a Female Head Butler to oversee and manage the smooth daily operations of a private residence. This role requires the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail to ensure that the household and service staff deliver seamless, five-star hospitality at all times. The ideal candidate will combine traditional butlering skills with modern household management expertise, while maintaining cultural sensitivity and respecting the family’s privacy.
 
Responsibilities

• Supervise and train household staff (maids, nannies, drivers, chefs, and other support staff).
• Develop and maintain service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all areas.
• Coordinate household schedules, events, and daily operations.
• Ensure proper inventory control, including fine wines, tableware, and luxury items.
• Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee formal and informal dining service, including table settings, silver service, and etiquette.
• Greet and attend to principals, family members, and guests with discretion and warmth.
• Organize events, dinners, and functions to the highest standards.
• Manage wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and personal assistance when required.
• Manage budgets, petty cash, and household accounts.
• Maintain staff schedules, rotas, and performance records.
• Handle travel arrangements, reservations, and household correspondence.
• Ensure household manuals and SOPs are kept up to date.
• Ensure the safety and security of the household at all times.
• Exercise absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding all household matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Gender: Female (per principal’s preference for cultural and household needs).
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in luxury households, yachts, or hospitality in a senior service role.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a multicultural team.
• Fluent in English (additional languages such as Arabic, French, or Russian an advantage).
• Excellent knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and luxury lifestyle service.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and solution-oriented.
• Impeccable grooming and professional presentation.
• Flexible to travel with the family if required.
• Valid UAE/International driving license preferred.
