Salary: £13ph circa + Tips
Work Schedule: 48 hours over 5 days

Overview and Opportunity:
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering with a charming, award-winning country inn offering 16 cosy en-suite rooms, a well-regarded seasonal restaurant (2 AA Rosettes), and a relaxed, traditional pub atmosphere. Set in a scenic village near the Yorkshire Dales, it’s popular with walkers and also offers riverside yurts for glamping. Dog-friendly and known for excellent food, local ales, and warm hospitality.
As Front of House Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, bar, and guest areas. Working closely with the management team, you’ll ensure smooth service, lead and motivate the FOH team, and deliver the highest standards of hospitality. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, organisation, and customer service.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing FOH operations, ensuring efficient service across restaurant, bar, and guest areas.
- Supervise and motivate the FOH team, providing training, guidance, and feedback.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for.
- Manage bookings, seating plans, and service flow to maximise efficiency.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and ensuring bar/restaurant areas are well-presented.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Lead by example on the floor, supporting staff during busy service periods.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior FOH role within hospitality.
- A natural leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong knowledge of food, drink, and service standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
