Salary: up to £32,000 + service charge
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Overview and Opportunity:
Achieve Hospitality are partnering with a 4-star hotel just a short walk from Glasgow International Airport. It has 170 modern rooms, a 24/7 fitness centre, and a restaurant. There are also 6 meeting rooms for up to 50 guests. This is a busy, high volume property who are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager.
You’ll be the warm and welcoming face that sets the tone for each stay, while leading and mentoring your team to ensure every detail runs smoothly delivering service excellence across reception, guest relations, and concierge functions.
You’ll manage staffing levels, rota planning and task delegation, and set performance and development goals to help your team shine. You’ll also take a hands-on role in improving service, reviewing guest satisfaction, and managing key HR activities where needed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead front desk operations (check-in/out, guest services, benefits).
- Supervise, train, and schedule front office staff.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure high satisfaction.
- Manage room inventory, billing, and compliance with company standards.
- Support budgeting, revenue monitoring, and upselling.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments.
- Ensure health, safety, and emergency procedures are followed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent leadership skills with experience of developing and leading a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise.
- Strong communication skills through a variety of means.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing your own time and the time of the team.
- Opera experience required.
- Marriott experience (preferred).
