You will help coordinate the housekeeping team, monitor standards, conduct inspections and ensure bedrooms, residences and public areas are maintained to an impeccable standard. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable working within a professional hotel operation and delivering the personalised, discreet service expected within a private residence.
You will act as a key support to the Housekeeping Manager, helping to organise workloads, train team members, manage stock and ensure the smooth running of the department in their absence.

- Supervise, motivate and support housekeeping and laundry team members, promoting a positive and professional working environment.
- Assist with staff training, development, onboarding and performance management.
- Coordinate room and residence readiness with Front Office, Estate and wider operational teams.
- Support the delivery of personalised housekeeping services in line with individual guest and principal preferences.
- Work discreetly and professionally within private household environments, respecting confidentiality and the privacy of principals and guests.
- Assist with laundry operations, including the care and presentation of high-value garments, luxury fabrics, linens and household items.
- Monitor stock levels, purchasing requirements and departmental inventory.

- Ensure compliance with COSHH, manual handling, PPE, hygiene and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain high standards of presentation across interiors, furnishings, guest areas and estate facilities.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and household staff to ensure a seamless service.
- Take responsibility for the department when required, supporting the Housekeeping Manager in their absence.
- Remain hands-on and visible within the operation, leading by example and supporting the team during busy periods.
- Maintain discretion, professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
